Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT)
AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana wants to help ensure that your young patients get the care they need. That's why our EPSDT program assists the parents or guardians of all members younger than 21 years of age in receiving EPSDT screenings, treatment, follow-up, and referrals to the Early Intervention Program when appropriate. Report known or suspected child sexual abuse
One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused by age 18*. As a provider of health care, you are a mandatory reporter as required by law when there is a reason to suspect that a child has been sexually abused.
